The Environmental Awareness Programme is run in collaboration with Dubai Municipality and the Emirates Environmental Group.
Students are encouraged to take part in various projects including:
o Newspaper Recycling campaign
o Saving electricity and water in the school.
o Planting trees.
o Awareness of sustainability.
o Eco-friendly bags design
o Provide students with awareness of food recycling and the use of a food recycling machine to extract compost
o Organizing a green running competition
Events:
o Participation in a competition (food hero star) under the auspices of Dubai Municipality.
o Environmental public speaking competition between schools (organized by the Emirates Environmental Group)
o Permanent participation in the international competition (Green Olympics) based in India.
o Art competition (organized by the Emirates Environmental Group)
o Clean Up the World Campaign (organized by Dubai Municipality)
o Attending workshops and seminars such as:
(Conservation Award – WETEX Exhibition – Renewable Energy Exhibition)
