English, Mathematics and Science lie at the heart of our curriculum in Primary school. As we move forwards each year, we strive to incorporate the best that modern practice has to offer. The everyday use of technology in classrooms is becoming more important for our children as they prepare for today’s global connectivity.
Central to our values is our belief that all should ‘Strive for Excellence’. Children will embark on a Learning Journey which enables them to focus on their achievements – i.e. ‘I can’. We take every opportunity to share each student’s achievements, whether they are academic, sporting, musical or artistic. We have a positive ethos with high expectations for our students. Our behaviour policy rewards positive attitudes and promotes self discipline and respect for others. Leadership and responsibility is very much encouraged from the youngest children, who will have responsibilities within the classroom, to the oldest who may be a House Captain in Year 6.

Together in partnership with teachers, parents and children, we will ensure that all students develop essential life-
